Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan Indonesia (JIKSI) is a scientific journal that serves as a platform for disseminating research findings and literature reviews in the field of health sciences, particularly in public health, nursing, and community nutrition.

Peer Review Process

Each submitted manuscript is reviewed by a minimum of two peer reviewers using a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

Manuscript submissions are processed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform in five stages: Start, Upload Submission, Enter Metadata, Upload Supplementary Files, and Confirmation.

The review process takes a maximum of four weeks after the manuscript has been assigned to the reviewers. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using a plagiarism detection tool before entering the peer-review process.

Manuscripts that pass the plagiarism screening are subsequently reviewed by the editorial board. Based on the results of the review, the editorial decision will fall into one of four categories: Accepted, Revision Required, Resubmit for Review, or Rejected.

Manuscripts that meet the journal's academic and publication standards will be approved for publication.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
